  • How do I register for an account?
    • For laboratories that haven’t ordered IQAS proficiency tests previously, contact IQAS@bodetech.com.

      For new users at a currently participating laboratory, contact your Quality Manager.
  • Is IQAS an accredited proficiency test provider?
    • Yes, IQAS is accredited to ISO/IEC 17043 by ANAB. Download copies of our accreditation certificate and scope here.
  • When are samples manufactured?
    • Samples are made approximately three months before the proficiency tests ship.
  • Is the data entry automated or manual?
    • Proficiency test participants manually enter their results into an electronic Results Submission Form. This electronic form is uploaded directly into the IQAS database.

      An option to upload analyzed data directly into the Results Submission Form is under development.
  • What order are the loci listed in during results submission?
    • The Results Submission Form will display the loci in the order they appear on the electropherogram(s) for the STR/Y-STR kit(s) used.
  • How long do I have to process my proficiency test?
    • Proficiency test results are due to IQAS approximately 16 weeks after the proficiency tests ship.
  • When is the cut-off date for ordering proficiency tests?
    • Orders for active distributions are due by the dates displayed below.

  • Can I place a late order?
    • Proficiency tests may be available for purchase after the order due date; however, supplies are limited. Contact IQAS@bodetech.com to inquire about availability.
  • How do I submit a complaint or appeal?
    • Submit all complaints and appeals via email using the contact information provided on the Contact page. All submissions will be acknowledged.
